join your friends gabby & esther for an afternoon of decorating your next personal lighter, and start setting fires in style. we’ll bring all the materials and tea—you just bring yourself, your creativity and we’ll take care of the rest! walk away with a lighter that everyone will want to steal.
about esther (they/them): i like to smoke when i’m sad, and i wanna do it in a lana del rey meets nana way. this afternoon is inspired by a collage-and-modpodge lighter my roommate made one night at the beach over wine and a little fire (breaking at least two city bylaws). oh, and i’m a copywriter and generalist wordsmith.
about gabby (she/they):
what to expect at the event
the first hour and a bit will be spent on curating and clipping art, while the last hour or so is for kicking our feet up over tea while we wait for the modpodge glue to dry. arriving on time lets the afternoon unfold at a relaxed pace.
we’ll supply lighters, magazines, scissors, mod podge, paintbrushes, tea, extra paper and good company. if you have an item of your own at home that you’d prefer to work on, please feel free to bring it! notebooks, the inside of a clear cell phone case, a tiny vase for a single flower…
